2024 Merchandise Vendors
Merchandise Vendors are considered anyone selling products such as crafts, novelties, direct-sells, artwork, etc.
To ensure that the participating vendors are given ample opportunity to be financially successful during the event, we do limit the number of vendors with the same type of merchandise (e.g. tumblers, jewelry, glow items, etc)

Our Vendors rental spaces are open to all types of vendors, for the festival. The Chillicothe Halloween Festival is an event to showcase the best of our community, with a Halloween / Fall - themed flare; therefore, we do ask that you consider showcasing merchandise & items that correspond to the theme, but that isn't a requirement to participate as a vendor during the festival.

The dates are: October 11th, 12th, and 13th.
Friday: 11am to 10pm
Saturday: 10am to 10pm

3. What is the cost to rent a space during the festival?
10x10 space is $150
20x10 space is $300
30'x10' space is $450.00

6. Do I have to provide my own tent/chairs/etc?
Yes. Unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate enough tables / chairs / etc, at this time.
7. When can I setup my tent / space?
Setup will start on Thursday, Oct 10th, at 2 pm. Vendors will be allowed to enter the festival area to setup their tents / trailers. Festival Organizers will be on-hand during setup to coordinate.
8. Will there be parking available?
Yes. Parking will be available inside and around the city park (festival area). Vehicles are NOT permitted to be parked within the venue area (e.g. behind tents and spaces) to ensure the safety and security of all vendors and festival-goers. You will be allowed to drive in to unload your vehicle; however, your vehicle must be removed from the vendor area. If any vehicles are parked within the venue space during operational hours you will be asked to move it and failure to comply may result in your being asked to leave the festival without a refund. We appreciate your understanding of this regulation as it is in place to ensure that everyone's safety is upheld.
In addition, parking passes will be given to vendors for their vehicles. We do require that you list the make, model, and license plate number of your vehicle on the Vendor Agreement so that we can ensure that only those cars allowed within the parameter of the parking space are granted access. There will be staff on-hand during setup to indicate where vendors are required to park once unloading has been completed within a timely manner.
9. Is this an outside or inside event?
The Festival will take place in Yoctangee Park (in the heart of the Chillicothe Downtown area), and will be outside, allowing for that crisp autumn air and the beauty of Fall to set the atmosphere during the festival.
10. Since this event will be outside, what about the weather?
Our festival is a "rain or shine" event. If there is inclement weather that could result in a danger to our vendors and/or patrons, we would follow the policies set forth by local authorities. After all, it is Ohio weather...so we'll wait five minutes for it to change.
11. What about the security of my merchandise?
We understand the importance of the security of your merchandise, which is why there will be security staff on-hand throughout the duration of the festival (including all night) to ensure the safety and security of your property and merchandise. We have worked with the security staff for many years, and know that your property is in good hands.
12. Can I get a refund on my vendor fee?
The Chillicothe Halloween Festival is held as a fundraiser for the charities throughout the local communities. Due to the nature of the event, we won't be able to process a refund; however, arrangements can be made such as ensured space at the following year's festival, etc.
13. I'm traveling to the festival, and wondering about hotels in the area?
There are many great hotels in the Chillicothe area that you can choose from, to stay during the festival. All of them are relatively close to the city park (where the festival will be held). Visit our Hotels page to view the list, and proximity to the festival.
14. HOW do I ensure that I get to attend in this year's festival, as a vendor?
You will need to print the Vendors Applications (see links above), complete the required information on the form, and mail it to:
Chillicothe Halloween Festival
